FSU Salley Hall Remodeling - Tallahassee, Florida

Previous - Next

Salley Hall is a 37-year-old dormitory, on the Florida State University campus, composed of twin 8-story towers. Allstate performed extensive interior demolition, asbestos abatement, and a complete window replacement to begin the early phase of construction. The remaining renovation work consisted of a total elevator replacement, broad mechanical and electrical modifications, replacement of the VCT, replacement of all doors, frames and hardware, and painting the entire interior of both towers. The bathrooms received new ceramic tile, Fiber Reinforced Plastic, casework, and plumbing fixtures. Allstate helped to ensure safety and accommodate students by replacing deteriorated duct, installing window limiters, and providing multiple ADA modifications including bed and bathroom modifications and automatic door openers.
