Allstate Construction was selected to perform the high profile and long overdue renovations to the existing Florida Senate Chamber in the State Capitol Building. The scope of work included the installation of a new planetarium style dome, stained glass light medallion, custom millwork and casework, and upgrades to the lighting and HVAC systems. Many of the systems on the project had not been upgraded since the building was built in the mid-70s and were upgraded by Allstate to meet current codes and new energy efficiency standards. This facility is high security and all team members from the construction manager, subcontractors and other vendors were required to obtain security clearances, and Allstate closely monitored to individuals on site daily.
